Event features new episodes, cast member meet-and-greet, activities
CONWAY, Ark. (Arkansas TV) — Arkansas TV, in partnership the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts (AMFA), will celebrate the premiere of Season 5 of the Emmy Award-winning “Blueberry’s Clubhouse” with a free screening event at AMFA’s Performing Arts Theater Saturday, Aug. 8, at 10:30 a.m. Tickets are free, but registration is required by visiting arkmfa.org/events.
Guests will watch new episodes on the big screen, meet Blueberry and other cast members, and enjoy fun activities with friends and family. Activities begin when doors open at 10 a.m. and continue after the screening event until 1 p.m.
The final two episodes of Season 5 will screen in the theater beginning at 10:30 a.m. Each episode is approximately 15 minutes long. In addition to the screening, several special theater activities include a live introduction from Blueberry, a short blooper reel and possible appearances by a few surprise characters. Ticketed attendees will get a swag bag and free popcorn.
Other activities happening in the Atrium during normal creative Saturday hours are:
- Puppet-making activity with the AMFA Art School
- Green screen experience with Arkansas TV
- Bookmark-making activity with Arkansas TV
- Meet-and-greet with human characters from Blueberry’s Clubhouse
- Display of specialty props from the new season
- Original music from the show
- Previously aired episodes playing in the Lecture Hall
Created through a partnership between Arkansas TV and Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts (AMFA), “Blueberry’s Clubhouse” follows Blueberry – a fun-loving, curious puppet – on imaginative adventures in Arkansas. Season 5 continues to inspire curiosity, creativity and social-emotional learning through storytelling and song, making it perfect for families and young learners.
This season introduces a fresh storyline and fun new characters. When two mischievous extraterrestrial brothers, Benji and Bart, crash their flying saucer at camp, Blueberry steps in to help. Guided by their onboard computer, RoboReader, she spends the summer learning to spell new words and repair the brothers’ ship.
“Blueberry's Clubhouse” is designed for first graders, advanced kindergarteners and second graders who benefit from extra practice, providing families and educators with a valuable literacy resource that aligns with Arkansas standards, reflects evidence-based Science of Reading practices and supports learning at home and in homeschool, private and public-school classrooms.
Programs like “Blueberry’s Clubhouse” embody Arkansas TV’s mission: to educate, inspire, inform and serve Arkansas families through trusted, high-quality educational content.
