Fall brings two of my favorite days at Arkansas PBS – our Family Day events in Central Arkansas and Northwest Arkansas! This year’s theme is “K is for Kindness!”
Mark your calendars! Arkansas PBS Family Day is back this fall, bringing families together for some laughter, learning and connection. Best of all – it’s free and open to everyone!
You’ll have two opportunities to join the fun: Saturday, Sept. 27, in Conway at the Arkansas PBS Studios and Saturday, Nov. 8, in Springdale at The Jones Center. Both events will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Families are encouraged to RSVP at myarpbs.org/events.

The small town of Wilmar, located in southeast Arkansas, holds one of the longest-running Juneteenth celebrations in Arkansas history and has been celebrated since the late 1800s. Arkansas PBS captured the history and relationships that draw people back to Wilmar year after year in the documentary short, “Wilmar June Dinner,” produced as part of the Arkansas PBS series "Celebrating Arkansas."
Hello, my name is Lillian Walker, and I am from Rogers, Arkansas. I am a junior attending the University of Central Arkansas. I am pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in marketing and a minor in business analytics.
