Hey families! Arkansas TV will continue its Read to Succeed initiative this June with several events around the state. Read to Succeed is an initiative to provide literacy resources and encourage family engagement through educational activities. June’s first event will be held Tuesday, June 2, in Jonesboro.

Events are scheduled for the following cities and dates in June:
Jonesboro – Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library, 315 W Oak Ave., Tuesday, June 2, at 1 p.m.
Ozark – Franklin County Public Library, 407 W. Market St., Wednesday, June 10, at 10 a.m.
Clarksville – Johnson County Public Library, 2 Taylor Cir., Wednesday, June 10, at 1 p.m.
Siloam Springs – Siloam Springs Public Library, 205 E. Jefferson St., Saturday, June 13, at noon.
Harrison – Lake Harrison Pavilion, 191 Lakeshore Drive, Thursday, June 18, at 6:30 p.m.
Conway – Faulkner County Library, 1900 Tyler St., Saturday, June 27, at 11:30 a.m.
Each community event is open to the public and will include a free meal and story time, followed by a discussion and activity. For a full list of event locations throughout the state, visit arkansastv.gov/events.
Families who attend will receive an Arkansas TV literacy resource bag – including a book, family engagement activities, a journal and a snack bag to take home. Spanish versions of materials will be provided as needed.
