Since 1985, the Arkansas Governor’s “Quiz Bowl” has been a long-standing Arkansas TV tradition, allowing high school players across the state to showcase their knowledge and compete for a chance to represent The Natural State in national tournaments.

The “Arkansas Quiz Bowl 2026” will air on Arkansas TV in two parts on Saturday, April 26, beginning at 9 a.m. and livestreaming at arkansastv.gov/live. A total of 14 teams from seven conferences will compete in the state finals for scholarship money.

The “Arkansas Quiz Bowl 2025” state champions have been crowned in the state finals held at Arkansas PBS on Saturday, April 26, and we’re proud to celebrate these outstanding young scholars!

Forty years of "Quiz Bowl"? That’s right, and this year we are celebrating all the years of scholarship and competition that has been an Arkansas PBS tradition since 1985.

The Arkansas Governor’s "Quiz Bowl” has allowed high school players across the state to display their knowledge in literature, math, science, history, art, music and economics. Teams from across the state compete for the chance to represent The Natural State in national tournaments.

The “Arkansas Quiz Bowl 2024” state champions have been crowned in the state conference finals held at Arkansas PBS on Saturday, April 27, and we’re proud to celebrate these outstandings young scholars!
