Arkansas TV is thrilled to air the “Harvest for Hope Concert” on Thursday, March 19, at 7 p.m. on the statewide network and online at arkansastv.gov/live.

Filmed Dec. 6 in Keo, Arkansas, as part of the annual Arkansas Pecan Festival, the concert was created to bring communities together in support of Arkansas agriculture while highlighting the importance of mental health resources for farmers and ranchers.

A Night of Arkansas Talent

The benefit concert raised $100,000 to support farmers’ mental health initiatives and featured performances from several Arkansas-connected artists.

The lineup included:

  • Triple Nickel, the band formed by Rep. Rick Crawford in 2015.
  • Three Times A Lady, an all-woman harmony trio performing classic country.
  • Matt Stell, a country artist who has appeared on “Good Morning America” and “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”

Since its formation, Triple Nickel has performed at festivals and county fairs across the region, playing a mix of classic rock, country favorites and original songs. Three Times A Lady brings rich vocal harmonies to classic country standards, while Stell adds a nationally recognized voice to the event’s lineup.

Expanding the Conversation Around Agriculture

The Harvest for Hope Concert is part of a broader effort by Arkansas TV to highlight the experiences and challenges faced by the state’s agricultural community.

In 2022, Arkansas TV launched “The Growing Season,” a podcast funded through a Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network grant. The podcast features interviews with Arkansas farmers and explores the realities of agricultural life across the state. From large-scale row crop operations to cattle ranches and small two-acre vegetable farms, “The Growing Season” examines the many ways Arkansans farm – and the challenges that come with it.

Arkansas TV also produces “Good Roots,” a segment highlighting rural community life, agribusiness and how both are evolving through modern advances. The series includes features addressing farmers’ mental health and sharing resources available to agricultural families. “Good Roots” is funded through a Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Network Grant provided by U.S. Department of Agriculture and administered by Arkansas Department of Agriculture.

“Dirt” – an award-winning documentary about saving our soil – delves into how Arkansas farmers, ranchers and more are improving their operations by helping the environment. “Dirt” breaks through the surface to explore the living, breathing ecosystem beneath our feet. Major funding for “Dirt” is provided by the Pulaski County Conservation District and the United States Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service in Arkansas.

Together, these projects aim to spotlight the people and communities that sustain Arkansas agriculture while connecting them with meaningful support and resources.
