Get ready to turn up the flavor – Arkansas TV is serving up something brand new. The all-new, Arkansas TV-produced healthy cooking show “Arkansas Taste Kitchen” will make its debut in March, demonstrating that eating well doesn’t have to be boring, expensive or intimidating.

Hosted by beloved Arkansas personality Craig O’Neill, “Arkansas Taste Kitchen” brings the joy of home cooking to the forefront. Each episode blends expert culinary skill and practical nutrition advice, all with a distinct Arkansas flair.

For 60 years, Arkansas TV has served the state, informing, educating, inspiring and entertaining its viewers. Our roots dig into time in 1954 when the Arkansas Educational Television Association (AETA) was incorporated on June 4 as a voluntary organization to provide “non-profit and non-commercial educational television broadcast service to the state of Arkansas.”

We know you’ve seen the Valentine’s Day decor at the stores the day after Christmas, so we can boast about being later than stores on this one. If you remember last year, we gave stay-at-home dinner ideas from our friends from the Arkansas TV original production “Cooking on the Wild Side.” We’re bringing it back this year with a few new recipes from our “Cooking on the Wild Side” friends to try this year instead of going to an expensive dinner.

Arkansas is a state of striking contrasts and hidden treasures, from rolling hills to winding rivers, from bustling cultural centers to quiet historic towns. The beauty of The Natural State truly comes alive when you explore it through the lens of its seasons.

Arkansas TV is serving up something delicious this spring with the premiere of its all-new, Arkansas-produced series “Taste Buds,” debuting in March. Hosted by actor and comedian Brett Ihler, the half-hour show takes viewers on a flavorful road trip across The Natural State, spotlighting beloved local restaurants and the people who bring them to life.

Our favorite puppet and her friends are back at camp and excited to share their new adventures! A brand-new season of “Blueberry’s Clubhouse” premieres this March and focuses on literacy instruction.  

We can’t wait to welcome viewers back to a place many Arkansas children love. The new season at Camp Onomatopoeia builds on the warmth, creativity and educational purpose that makes “Blueberry’s Clubhouse” a family and educator favorite.

“One of the things that I think was important to our production team on ‘The Arkansas Traveller’ was that we were all born and raised in Arkansas, and we all loved Arkansas,” former Arkansas Education Television Network senior producer Dale Carpenter said. “The stories of the show were introduced by John Reeder. We’d take him to a location in Arkansas, and he would introduce the various stories for the program that week. Our closing was always the same.

For many Arkansans, the holidays aren’t complete without the familiar sounds of fiddles, guitars and voices raised in harmony. “Ozark Mountain Christmas” captures that feeling perfectly – a snapshot of Ozark culture, community and music at its most heartfelt.

Season 2 of “Arkansas Treasures” – an Emmy Award-winning Arkansas PBS original series showcasing the extraordinary and unexpected collectibles and antiques found throughout The Natural State – is returning with episodes three and four premiering Monday, Dec. 1, at 7 p.m. on the statewide network and at myarpbs.org/live!
