Thursday nights are local nights at Arkansas TV, and we have a great lineup ahead in May. Hear music from Fayetteville staples The Cate Brothers, then get a bird’s eye view of all four seasons of our state, and then, take a trip to the Arctic Circle as Fayetteville native Adam Riley and Canadian Matty Clarke attempt a feat that has never been done before.

“Dirt,” an Arkansas TV Emmy Award-winning original production about the importance of soil conservation, will return to the small screen Thursday, April 15, at 7 p.m. for an encore. Dig into the dirt with farmers across Arkansas as they work to save the soil and find out why this ecosystem is so important.
Arkansas TV is thrilled to air the “Harvest for Hope Concert” on Thursday, March 19, at 7 p.m. on the statewide network and online at arkansastv.gov/live.
Filmed Dec. 6 in Keo, Arkansas, as part of the annual Arkansas Pecan Festival, the concert was created to bring communities together in support of Arkansas agriculture while highlighting the importance of mental health resources for farmers and ranchers.
If you’re a basketball fan, the Madness of March is about to begin while the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations are likely underway. Before we move further, we’d like to mention our Emmy-nominated program “Celebrating Arkansas,” which highlights different celebrations throughout the state. Amongst those highlighted is Hot Springs’s World Shortest St. Patrick’s Day Celebration.
Get ready to turn up the flavor – Arkansas TV is serving up something brand new. The all-new, Arkansas TV-produced healthy cooking show “Arkansas Taste Kitchen” will make its debut in March, demonstrating that eating well doesn’t have to be boring, expensive or intimidating.
Hosted by beloved Arkansas personality Craig O’Neill, “Arkansas Taste Kitchen” brings the joy of home cooking to the forefront. Each episode blends expert culinary skill and practical nutrition advice, all with a distinct Arkansas flair.
For 60 years, Arkansas TV has served the state, informing, educating, inspiring and entertaining its viewers. Our roots dig into time in 1954 when the Arkansas Educational Television Association (AETA) was incorporated on June 4 as a voluntary organization to provide “non-profit and non-commercial educational television broadcast service to the state of Arkansas.”
We know you’ve seen the Valentine’s Day decor at the stores the day after Christmas, so we can boast about being later than stores on this one. If you remember last year, we gave stay-at-home dinner ideas from our friends from the Arkansas TV original production “Cooking on the Wild Side.” We’re bringing it back this year with a few new recipes from our “Cooking on the Wild Side” friends to try this year instead of going to an expensive dinner.
